The Vasansi legacy has been a cornerstone of Jaipur’s vibrant textile and handicraft traditions for seven generations. Our story began during the British Raj, when our ancestors crafted exquisite pieces for royalty.

In 1956, we established Jaipur Saree Kendra in the city’s historic old quarters. It was Shailendra Sancheti who took this tradition to new heights. By starting a textile printing unit in 1983, he greatly expanded our production, retail, and wholesale operations.

In 2007, his son, Samprati Sancheti, joined the business and launched Vasansi Jaipur.

With the opening of our extensive store in Jaipur, we embarked on an exciting new chapter. We continued to honor our traditional craftsmanship while embracing innovative techniques and global influences.
